Self Love is a documentary that explores the black male psyche through the lens of four 1st generation Haitian-American men.

Rachelle Menelas is a Haitian-American filmmaker. In light of this year’s racial unrest, Rachelle was inspired to facilitate and film a conversation with black men that explores the concepts of love, openness, race, culture, and masculinity. Self Love is her directorial debut.
